It’s a long way from the saudi statement “attacking iran would cause trouble in the region” to “if you attack iran, we will support them”.
Of course attacking iran would cause regional trouble. That would be one of the benefits of it. But what would the saudis actually do? Fitnah or no fitnah. If I were to take a wild guess: they’d do exactly nothing.

I think they’d issue a strongly worded letter in response. Possibly in consultation with the Belgians.
Saudis will shit their pants if Iranian regime is changed through war or democratic uprising. DOn’t you think so?
