Why not? A truly innovative solution to a truly festering problem. Frankly, pig’s squeals are less offensive to me than Muslim prayers calling for the killing of non-Muslims. Take that, Islam.

I thought God gave us a bit of wisdom. Guess I was mistaken.
What I find surprising is that Mohammadans in Europe think they can usurp a public area for the use of their religion. They must think we are all Dhimmis. Shows an intense disrespect towards the majority population, IMHO. If the Mohammadans are not able to abide by the rules of the society they live in, there is plenty of Dar-al-Islam for them to move to.
It’s the expression of popular resistance to Muslim attempts to take over their town. If Muslims continue to impose their religion on Europe, the reaction is likely to become much more severe. In this sense, Muslims are courting catastrophe by taking advantage of European tolerance and playing the Europeans for fools. There will come a day when such non-violent reaction to Muslim provocation will be a wistful memory.

Muslims are not being deprived of a place to pray in Norway as you suggest. After all, Norway is not Saudi Arabia where other religions are forbidden on pain of death. Nor is Norway like most Muslim countries where the practice of non-Muslim religions provokes violence. The reason these particular Muslims are without a mosque is their own incompetence in building one. This illustrates a larger theme: Islam doesn’t work.
The Muslim demand to take over the town square as their open air mosque carries with it a long history of Islamic expanionism and deceit. Once the good people of Bergen give their town square to the Muslims in the spirit of good will and tolerance, do you honestly think the Muslims will reciprocate? Do you honestly think that should the Muslims ever complete their mosque they will give up the town square? Muslims have a doctrine that any land possessed by Muslims is theirs forever. They still think Spain is rightfully theirs. Once they take control of the square, you can expect more demands and bogus complaints that denying them the square infringes on their religion. Muslims will take as much as they can get away with and will never, never give anything up except by force.
This story also illustrates the parasitical nature of Islam, which depends on non-Muslims to sustain it. Muslim immigrants move to Norway, to Scandinavia, to Europe to escape their own countries, hellholes made unliveable by Muslim culture and religious management, to live off over-generous Western welfare. Their response to this generosity is to demand more. Many Muslims feel entitled to such payments from infidel countries as jizaya, the tax all non-Muslims owe to Muslims according to Islam.
The answer to this arrogant Muslim encroachment only begins with denying them the gift of the town square to be their mosque but should be extended to the immediate limitation of immigration from Muslim countries and the cessation of all immigration from Muslim countries supporting Islamic terror, like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, among others. Nothing good comes of allowing Muslims in your country, who always make war on their hosts.

Tantor, I know a bit Bergen, a very lovely place, when I came there it was with a cruise ship, and we used to walk in the city, ; the garden were maintened with the help of jailed women, and our surprise was to watch them in their tee-shirt off, only brasiere and short, is it still the same rules ?
as far as the mulins treatment, I don’t agree for most of your saying, just think in an historian way : Istambul in the years of Isabel of Castilla, jews has to run away from Spain, and went to Holland ; later they continued till Istambul ; That city was welcoming all the religions, and they even help the new arrivants to get their place where they could pray in peace ;
so we should have the same attitude, but evidently not letting the things getting worse in being to laxists.
I know, riots in France made the scoop everywhere on this earth, but that was not the probem of 95 % of our country, just in surpopulated and non-economical surburbs. most of the time our muslins are quiet, and the town let them having their praying places. they can’t afford to construct them, we have to accept this religion. and I can tell you that only 3% of our mulins feel near islam, cause they get on with our way of smoothing life

I would not think so.
Why doesn’t the mosque’s executive committee lease a building as a temporary mosque until the new one is ready? I see small Christian churches doing this all the time. The local IMAX theater is leased by a Church on Sunday mornings. for services.
Why do they demand the use of public land for what is a private religious service? That land is for all citizens. Unless the mosque is willing to pay the city for it’s use. For example, if a concert promoter wanted to use the area for a show, would the city be excepted to allow the producers to use the area for free? No.
The use of pig parts to drive off the Muslims is childish and makes them look foolish and extremist. They should simply remind the government that they are not obligated to grant the use of public resources for private uses unless it is in the public good.
In the interest of peace I volunteer to go to this square and eat all the pigs feet.
Are they precooked or am I going to have to pack a lot of medicines?
