  1. That was sarcasm, I assume.

If only the media was honest enough to draw the same parallels. I hope in a generation we get a journalism that has balls. Or ovaries, tough women are as needed as tough men.

  2. SM:”This dude just made everybody you don’t wanna piss off in Britian angry at him. Dumbass!”

Actually I don’t know about you, Sandmonkey, but I am utterly and totally comfortable and relaxed about pissing off Hibz-ut Tahrir and the MAB.

The only people who have any right to be pissed off are the BNP. What did they do to deserve this?

  3. “Those who seek a sharia state, or special treatment and a separate law for British Muslims are, in many ways, the mirror image of the BNP,”

    I agree with him.

  4. The report adds: “As Muslim communities enter the third generation of settlement in this country, and in circumstances where a rapidly rising proportion have been educated here, it is anomalous and patronising to individuals to treat them indirectly as members of a group and not directly as citizens in their own individual right on a par with other voters.

“Political ghettoisation is the wrong route.

“We recommend that an incoming Conservative government moves in the opposite direction: to bring as many Muslims as possible as rapidly as possible into the mainstream of British life on an individual basis equal with that of their fellow non-Muslim citizens.”

    (from BBC report)

    Why should that offend anyone?

    It will, of course.

As for Sharia Law, I suspect many people want it because they think it will be easier than UK law. They could get a nasty surprise.

  5. He’s spot on. Very courageous. I don’t care if he’s pissed off they who must not be offended. And I’m sure he doesn’t care either.

We need more frank speech like this.

  6. And what? Same ideology disguised in the coat of religion.
muslim ummah – Reich; prophet – Fuhrer; kufar – Untermensch; jihad – Endlosung
Two possibilities now. Either is Mr. Cameron right, or from now on nazism is ideology of peace.

  7. He didn’t compare Islam (personal religion) to the BNP, as you said Sam. He compared sharia (political oppression) to the BNP. I don’t know too much about the BNP, but I suspect he was being too easy on sharia.

  8. I don’t know anything about the BNP…but it seems to me that the Islamic groups who responded in the “we are offened” fashion offered pretty much knee jerk responses.

I mean, Muslim leaders around the world are constantly haranguing and demonizing everything Western, and everyone takes this in stride. But the instant a Western leader criticizes ANY Islamic group or spokesperson, they ALL jump on the culturally offended band wagon.

In essence, it is like an abusive husband that gets away with and is forgiven for anything, but if the wife complains about leaving dirty socks around then she gets slapped upside the head. Nothing like that ends well.

  9. Ha! This is funny.

“Those who seek a sharia state, or special treatment and a separate law for British Muslims are, in many ways, the mirror image of the BNP,” – David Cameron

“This link of any Muslim mainstream organization to the fascism of BNP, it will be taken as a serious offence,” – Muhammad Abdul Bari, general secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain

At least someone came out and said it. Mainstream Muslim groups want to overthrow Britain and install Shaitain’s law.

  10. For once SM you are completely and utterly wrong. Cameron has probably ensured that he will be prime minister after the next election, by articulating what the majority of English voters think, but have been reluctant ot say. It’s in the open now. Any one who pisses off the MCB and the BNP in the same breath will get sackloads of votes, including mine.

The MCB is a front for extremists and should have its state funding pulled instantly and its utterances should not be slavishly reported by the media as if they were holy writ.

  11. charlie 316 Says:”The MCB is a front for extremists and should have its state funding pulled instantly and its utterances should not be slavishly reported by the media as if they were holy writ.”

A survey that found, basically, a third of young British Muslims admit to supporting al-Qaeda’s agenda, also showed that a mere 6 percent of British Muslims thought the MCB represented them. I bet the BNP has a higher percentage of young Whites.

But I agree with you entirely. Time for Cameron, any everyone else, to take it to the Muslim community – especially the radicals and their friends. Enough two faced support for terror.

  12. John Reid also made the headlines by talking tough at a few news conferences. Peoples’ ears pricked up and a few entertained the notion of his standing in the forthcoming Labour leadership race.

Then he reverted to form like a good little politician, getting completely buttfucked in the national media because he seems to have problems keeping dangerous prisoners locked up in jail.

Cameron may have hit some valid points, but only in the sense that even a broken clock is right twice a day. Otherwise, it would seem he’s completely oblivious to the fact that he’s losing more and more of his Conservative voters every time he opens his mouth.

  13. “6 percent of British Muslims thought the MCB represented them. I bet the BNP has a higher percentage of young Whites.”

I think that is very unlikely, except perhaps in poor inner-city areas.

“Opinion polls published last weekend [May 2006] showed the party had only about 4 or 5 percent support nationally, but 30 percent or more in some urban areas.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/03/AR2006050302251_pf.html

Support is more likely to come from middle-aged or older voters who grew up in a white-only Britain.

  14. One thing which always anoys me about the way that the press reports on the BNP is that they always refer to them as a FAR-RIGHT organisation, in fact they are nothing of the sort. As with all fascists they are inherently FAR-LEFT. The BNP manifesto is all about nationalisation, state control of poeples lives and authoritarianism – in short socialism.

In this respect they are just the same as the National SOCIALIST German WORKERS Party were.

  15. last-bastion,

This is one of my biggest peeves as well. Academia and media have forced a false political spectrum on us for eons.

It’s about who holds the power:

far left=tyranny, too much law (whether by monarch, communists, or fascists)

    far right=anarchy, no law

That is the true political spectrum.

  16. Many people do not know that the term “Nazi” means “National Socialist German Workers’ Party” and that members of the horrid group did not call themselves Nazis, but called themselves socialists.

The “Nazi salute” is more accurately called the “American salute” as it was created and popularized by national socialists in the USA where its use was mandated by law in government schools for three decades before, and through, the creation of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. It was the early gesture of the Pledge of Allegiance.

The original pledge was anti libertarian and began with a military salute that then stretched out toward the flag. In actual use, the second part of the gesture was performed with a straight arm and palm down by children casually performing the forced ritual chanting. Due to the way that both gestures were used sequentially in the pledge, the military salute led to the Nazi salute. The Nazi salute is an extended military salute via the USA’s pledge.

The Pledge’s early salute caused quite a Fuhrer/furor. The dogma behind the Pledge was the same dogma that led to the socialist Wholecaust (of which the Holocaust was a part): 62 million slaughtered under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; 49 million under the Peoples’ Republic of China; 21 million under the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. It was the worst slaughter of humanity ever.

The USA originated Nazism, Nazi salutes, flag fetishism, robotic group-chanting to flags, and the modern swastika symbol as S symbolism for “socialism,” all shown in the research of the noted historian Dr. Rex Curry. The bizarre acts in the USA began as early as 1875 and continued through the creation of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (German Nazis or NSGWP). The NSGWP had clear roots in National Socialism promoted by socialists in the USA. Amazing graphic images that prove the point are at

The USA is still the worst example in the world of bizarre laws that require robotic chanting to a national flag in government schools (socialist schools) every day for 12 years. It has changed generations of Americans from libertarians to authoritarians. The government bamboozled individuals into believing that robotic group-chanting in government schools is a beautiful expression of freedom. Frightening photographs are at http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

  17. I am shocked at what is happening in the UK at the moment, over the years we have welcomed Muslims to settle in our country and even allowed them to build Mosques in the UK so they can practice their faith.

Now it appears their intention is not to integrate but to overrule this country and from what i have seen on websites they hate us with a passion.

Only this week police raids in Birmingham have revealed a threat to kidnap a UK soldier, torture and behead him then post a video of the event on the internet.

Researching on the internet the fascination of Muslims in beheading people has left me shocked and very upset, i actually came across sites that show videos of beheadings and hangings (ok call me naive).

I can’t understand the depth of hatred, the deeper i look to understand the more shocked i am…i recall many a time when shopping in a Muslim owned shop i would hold my hand out to recieve the change after making a purchase and they would place the change on the counter…i thought it was ignorance but now i know it’s because they class me as Kufar and hate us christians so much they don’t want to touch us.

  18. Tinny Ray,

Compulsory recitation of the pledge of allegiance was made illegal by the US Supreme Court in West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette in 1943. My mother, a NYC schoolteacher, was considered highly controversial when she forced her students to stand out of respect (but not recite) during the pledge of allegiance.

The original pledge was performed with the right hand over the heart by anyone other than military persons in uniform (who gave a military salute instead) at the outset of the pledge, and then when the word “flag” was spoken, the right hand was extended out toward the flag with the hand up, and not down as in the Nazi salute (which is in fact the Roman Salute, and not the American Salute).

But I suspect that there just might be a few countries out there that compel just a little bit more of their citizens than a 31 word pledge.

And the swastika is not derived from the “S” for socialism. It became a symbol for the Aryan Nation in the Nineteenth Century, after it was found in the Ruins of Troy. Swastika is, in fact, a Sanskrit word. It’s adoption by the National Socialist Party was due to their belief in Aryan superiority, and not due to a particular political philosophy.
