There is no Maadi serial killer. There hasn't been one confirmed victim killed anywhere in Maadi. The people who work in the press who I spoke to confirm this as well. This is nothing but a hoax played on you by the egyptian authorities, to give you something to think and talk about. And yes, apparently y'all are so stupid you fell for it, and some of you are going the extra distance of adding imaginary victims on randon streets that you have heard about from that friend of yours who lives/ has a cousin/friend who lives on that street. Stop freaking out your daughters, will you? Get a freakin grip!

SM, i couldn’t agree more! the wild imagination of the poor egyptians competes with yours on some levels 😀 one version i heard even featured the dude stabbing his victims in the butt (ouch!), and what’s more: one cab driver’s interpretation of the “incidents” was that the islamists were behind it, u know, trying to dissuade women of wearing pants and all. sometimes i wonder if it can get more entertaining 😀
Well apparently they have arrested someone in maadi last night January 14th under the pretext of being the Maadi serial killer. Isn’t it a little hard to do if there are no bodies? Go figure. This should be in the only Egypt section, you agree?

No no SM- this is true. I heard about it on the radio yesterday.
The police found a body in Maadi. Apparently it was a really gruesome and somewhat bizarre scene.
The news reports said that the dead body had its cavities- mouth, nose, ears and butt hole, stuffed with Coco-Puffs and Cornflakes. An empty bottle of milk was found nearby.
The police are now on the hunt for a cereal killer.

You’re right, I believe there isn’t a serial killer in Maadi, I guess it is more like the story about the serial killer in golf area in Heliopolis that happened about 4 or 5 years ago and they ended up arresting a guy for the charge of spreading the rumor.
I guess it is nothing more than a game played by the police to move people minds away from the police torturing stories after the appearance of the last video. If you remember the child molester gang was discovered just after the police sexual abuse victim story came to light, or maybe it is just a coincidence and I am just another conspiracy theorist!!:)
Ok, lets make a real good rumour, a woman stabbing the thing of any men that measures less then 20 centimetres, wouldn’t it be fun!!?? …… all man will be out the streets in Cairo…. Hahahaha Egyptians and Foreigners…
I do believe Egyptian police doesn’t need to create rumours, and if it is a rumour definitely comes from Americans!!!!

I agree… you wouldn’t believe how people are adding to the rumor. A cab driver told me that he has attacked 32 women, of which 4 are dead. He also said that he actually saw the man being chased by a large group of citizens/policemen and that he passed straight in front of his car.
Apparently, he didn’t know it was Mr. Butcher until two 3omada (which should translate to brigadiers but are usually referred to as colonels) got into the cab with him and discussed the incident.
He said that if he’d only known, he would have rammed the m*ther F*****!
Another cabbie said the man has killed 17 women.

The is too a Maadi killer. Last year in just one day he killed over a million birds infected with the flu. He even threw them into the Nile so we couldn’t drink water between 9:30am and 11:00am.

haha. in the street today I saw a car written on it “Safa7 El Ma3adi” “MAadi Serial killer” and some gurls were really afraid from approaching to the car, actually the story is a bit funny, adding to Faisal’s comment… a frnd of mine was in a ai and the driver began to talk with her about the killer and how brutal he is and how many women he stabbed!!
